Rescue Coordination Centre (RCC Malta) received a report on Sunday that two teenagers were in difficulty while attempting to come ashore at Xatt l-Ahmar, Ghajnsielem, Gozo, due to rough sea conditions.

The AFM said that while one of the teenagers made it to shore, an Armed Forces of Malta vessel carried out the rescue of the other person in difficulty who was then transferred to a Gozo General Hospital ambulance for further medical assistance.
