Two weeks into the collective exhibition Without Limit: St Francis 800 at Il-Hagar – Heart of Gozo Museum, curator Joseph Calleja will lead an exhibition walkthrough.

Calleja will discuss several aspects of this exceptional temporary display commemorating the 800th anniversary of the death of St Francis of Assisi.

The exhibition, which coincides with the Saint’s feast day celebrated in Victoria on the 4th of October, features 60 works of art by artists Annibale Carracci (1560-1609), Pietro Paolo Zahra (1685-1747), Ganni Vella (1885- 1977), Agostino Camilleri (1885-1979), Franco Caprioli (1912-1974), Anton Inglott (1915-1945), Willie Apap (1918-1970), Harry Alden (1929-2019), Antoine Camilleri (1922-2005), Ganni Bonnici (1932-2019), and Anton Agius (1933-2008), together with a long list of living artists from Gozo, Malta and beyond.

This guided tour will take place on Saturday, the 10th of October at 11am
