National Statistics Office data released today show that registered full-time employment totalled 309,854 in May, an increase of 4.8% over the same month in 2025.

Part-time as a primary job amounted to 37,516 an increase of 7.3% when compared to the same period in 2025.

The NSO noted that private sector full-time employment went up by 5.1% over a period of one year reaching 253,894.

Public sector full-time employment increased by 3.2% since May 2025, totalling 55,960..

As compared to May 2025, the NSO said that full-time employment for males and female went up by 4.9% and 4.6% respectively.
