The government has said that the Pharmacy of Your Choice scheme (POYC) which started last May in Gozo, has been a great success. Since its introduction the number of patients registered to date with POYC in Gozo has reached 6625.
As patients are now collecting medicines from their POYC and are no longer using the pharmacy at the Gozo General Hospital, it will stop providing this service from the end of the month, the government concluded.
Very successful for the government statistics.
As patients are now collecting medicines from their POYC, collecting what??? when there are no life saving tablets like statins and vastarell and atenolol for heart problem patients
