As in previous years, Gozo will celebrate the anniversary of Independence Day. This year, the 46th anniversary, the event will take place on Friday, the 24th of September 2009, at 6.30pm in Independence Square, Victoria.

For this occasion, the National and Regional Celebrations Committee within the Ministry for Gozo will host a concert by the Symphonic Band of the Armed Forces of Malta.

This concert will be under the patronage of the The Prime Minister, Dr. Lawrence Gonzi.
