Vodafone Malta said that it’s latest initiative means that Maltese and Gozitans alike can help save a tree every week by simply topping up online. Based on estimates carried out by Vodafone Malta, it results that if every customer had to top-up their mobile credit online, Maltese and Gozitan customers would be able to save roughly a tree a week.

Vodafone said that it arrived to this conclusion after calculating the amount of paper used in producing the many top-up vouchers customers use when buying paper card vouchers. Meanwhile, Vodafone Malta has just launched its new web site, offering a number of environmentally friendly services, amongst which, a simple way to top-up credit for any prepaid Vodafone number.

The company has gone a step further by rewarding all its customers with free calls to Vodafone Malta when topping up online. Vodafone customers will get free calls for a number of days depending on the amount they top-up their credit online.

“We want to give something back to our customers who have always felt that Vodafone Malta is their natural service provider. All our customers are extremely important to us, and we keep them in mind every step of the way. Because we truly believe in their input we also made sure that they participate in the development of our new website,” says Karl Galea, Online Services Senior Executive at Vodafone Malta.

Through its new website Vodafone Malta is providing its customers a better web experience based on their feedback. When working on creating this website Vodafone Malta listened to the feedback of over 700 customers who spoke out on how they envisage the new website and the services they would like to see included, the company said.

Customer feedback helped come up with a simpler way to view all available phones and plans, an extensive help and support section and a tab which is addressed to business people who will be kept up-to-date with all the latest info provided specifically for them.
