The Ghaqda Muzikali San Girgor of Kercem, Gozo is proudly presenting a unique wind band concert in one of the main theatres in Europe, Malta’s National Theatre, Teatru Manoel, Valletta. The event, which will be held on Sunday, the 20th of February, 2011, at 7.30pm, will be under the distinguished patronage of H.E. the President of Malta, Dr. George Abela, also attending will be H.L. the Bishop of Gozo, Mgr. Mario Grech. The St. Gregory Band said it will be the first Gozitan Musical Association to present a musical concert at the National Theatre of its own initiative.

The St. Gregory Band, which will be under the directorship of Mro. Mark Gauci, will be performing a varied repertoire during the evening. The Concert will be have an international atmosphere with the contribution of Italian dancers (Firenze) and thanks to the hard work of band director Mro Mark Gaucia, world renowned euphonium soloist from the United Kingdom, Steven Mead, which together with Maltese and Gozitan singers will created a truly harmonious atmosphere within the prestigious Teatru Manoel.
