Maltese Armed Forces said it denies reports in international media about alleged inbound Libyan naval vessels.

The Armed Forces of Malta (AFM) said it refers to the Aljazeera report “Libyan ship spotted off Malta coast.”

The AFM sait it denies it is monitoring any Libyan naval vessels, alleged to be approaching Maltese shores.

Contrary to what certain international news media reports stated, no contact with such vessels have been made, AFM concluded.
