In less than two weeks, the Maltese people have donated a grand total of € 40,193 to purchase medicines for the Libyan people.

The Civil Protection Department said it will continue to welcome donations into the bank accounts which have been specially opened in the local banks listed below:

Anyone wishing to donate is encouraged to do so in any branches of the banks listed.

At the end of this campaign of collection, the Civil Protection Department will be purchasing medicines that are required for use by the Libyan people during this time of need.

The medicines will then be delivered to Libya with the co-operation of the Armed Forces of Malta.
