Last Sunday, Gozo Bishop, Mgr. Mario Grech, announced that Antoine Vassallo as the new Diocesan President of the Catholic Action Movement in Gozo. He will chair his first meeting tomorrow, Thursday, the 15th of September.

Antoine Vassallo has, over the years, been involved in the Catholic Action Movement, as well as the diocese and St George’s Parish.

Mr Vassallo is the founder-President of the Gozo NGOs Association as well as Chair of Fondazzjoni Belt Victoria. Due to his wide experience he was often chosen to represent the voluntary sector.

Antoine Vassallo was presented by Bisop Grech at the end of a Concelebration at the Catholic Action Headquarters, which was held in the memory of Manuel Saliba who died, which left the post vacant after almost 30 years.
