The piggy banks used in the L-Istrina BOV Piggy Bank Campaign are coming out of their hibernation in preparation for the widest-reaching fund-raising event of the year.

Members of the Malta Girl Guides, in collaboration with Bank of Valletta and the Malta Community Chest Fund are preparing the piggy banks for distribution in all schools in Malta and Gozo as well as selected retail outlets.

The L-Istrina BOV Piggy Bank Campaign 2011, now in its eighth consecutive year will see the distribution of over 5,000 piggy banks. Since its inception, the L-Istrina BOV Piggy Bank campaign has presented over €430,000 to L-Istrina over the last seven years.
