A Seminar was held recently at the Magro Brothers Training Centre for farmers and herdsmen on the applications for Funding under Measures 121 and 125.

The event was organized by Magro Brothers in conjunction with the Department for Consumers, Fair Competition, Local Councils and Public Dialogue, MEUSAC (Malta-EU Steering & Action Committee), the Paying Agency within the Ministry for Resources and Rural Affairs and the main three Producers’ Organisations on Tomatoes for Processing.

Parliamentary Secretary Dr. Chris Said, addressed the participants, encouraging all those present to make use of such funds. Other panel members who explained in detail both Measures were Dr Vanni Xuereb from MEUSAC, Mr Joe Caruana Head of the Paying Agency. Officials Katya Scicluna from Fondazzjoni Gozo Action Group and Maria Carla Ciscaldi from the Paying Agency followed with detailed presentations.
