The Parliamentary Secretariat for Consumer Affairs has announced that the prices of another 15 medicines are being reduced by up to 45%.

The statement said that those who are need medicines to treat Hepatitis A, Hayfever, Osteoporosis, Glaucoma and Depression, would notice that there is now a substantial reduction in the price of their medicines.

Wellburtin XR, has a reduction of more than 45 per cent. The 300mg package was reduced by more than €23 and the 150mg by more than €15,the statement said.Further information can be obtained on 2144 6446 Mondays to Fridays between 8am and 5pm, or by e-mail on medicines@gov.mt.
