The Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector which is the National Coordinating Body for the European Year of Volunteering 2011 will be hosting as its highlight activity the European Tour, which is touring all European cities and will come to a close in Malta. The tour will consist of various events, exhibitions, discussions, demonstrations and other activities. The EYV 2011 Tour will bring Europe closer to volunteers, but it will also bring volunteers closer to society as a whole.

The EYV Tour will be in Malta between the 28th November and the 5th December 2011 and will be set up at the old bus terminus of Valletta.

The MCVS wishes to invite all Voluntary Organisations to participate in this event. 15 exhibition stands will be made available for Voluntary Organisations and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Each day will be dedicated to a particular theme, namely Environmental, Animal Welfare, Arts & Culture, Sports, Youth, Social and Humanitarian, and Health. Discussions involving all stakeholders will take place with the participation of policy makers.
