Fr. Anthony Zammit is a Gozitan Priest who this year on June the 27th, will be celebrating 25 years of God’s gift to him of priesthood.

Fr. Anthony has spent 10 years of his priestly Ministry in Australia where he built the Church of St. Francis of Assisi in Warrawong NSW in which on his last trip, Mons Bishop Mario Grech celebrated Mass while on his pastoral visit.

Fr. Anthony served more than 10 years as a Hospital Chaplain in Gozo General Hospital and three years in the missions of Peru. He was instrumental for the building of a retreat house in Arequipa and now is building a Church and a multifunction hall in Santa Rosa in the Selva of Peru. He has many good projects and slowly his work is becoming known amongst the Maltese.

Fr. Anthony will be leaving Gozo for yet another year to finish the Church and the hall and start building an old people’s home. When asked if he has the necessary funds, he said that “God will provide, as he always did.”
