The Police said today that three men from Gozo have been in court today on drug related charges.

An unnamed 17-year-old male from Victoria has been granted bail after pleading guilty to the charges of procuring and supplying cocaine, as well as possession of cocaine, ecstasy and mephedrone in amounts that indicated that the drugs were not for his personal use and selling or offering to sell mephedrone and ecstasy.

A second 19-year-old male, also from Victoria, pleaded not guilty to being in possession of cocaine, cannabis, mephedrone and ecstasy. He was given a conditional discharge for two years and ordered to attend a drug rehabilitation programme.

Jason Paul John Scerri, aged 30 and from Qala, was given a conditional discharge for a year after he pleaded guilty to being in possession of cannabis.
