Ta’ Pinu Shrine has now launched totally revamped and upgraded website – www.tapinu.org. This new upgrade forms part of the ongoing tourism orientated project.
The new portal is very user friendly and available in two languages, Maltese and English. Apart from extensive information about the Sanctuary, it is also possibile to follow live streaming of holy mass concelebrated at the Basilica and from the Chapel.
Devotees of our Lady of Ta’ Pinu can also follow the life at the Sanctuary through Facebook/pages (Ta’ Pinu National Shrine – Gozo, Malta) and Flickr/people (Ta’ Pinu National Shrine).
Restoration works at the residence of Karmela Grima, which is to re-open as a museum, are also now in an advanced stage. Likewise a number of paintings by Maltese artist Jospeh Briffa, have also been restored and will eventually be put on public display.
All of these works form part of a €400,000 project entitled “Discovering cultural and religious tourism in Gozo” which is being financed through the European Regional Development Fund for Malta 2007 -2013.
