A number of students who attend the Sir M.A. Refalo Centre for Further Studies in Victoria, participated in an ‘Open Evening’ with the theme ‘Why one should choose to study at the ITS?, which was held recently at the Institute for Tourism Studies in Qala.
ITS Gozo tutors and staff gave the potential students detailed information about courses available at the institute as well as the wide choice of programmes on offer. Students were informed about some of the benefits for those who enter the ITS, such as being granted first hand experience within the tourism industry in line with their chosen area of specialization, as well as the possibility to gain experience in places other than Malta.
French students who attend a marketing school in Brittany also participated in the event and were able to exchange views on the region and on the local gastronomy.
All those who participated in the event joined in a small reception, where food and drinks had been prepared and served by ITS students currently attending courses at the ITS Gozo.
