The feast of St John the Baptist will be marked in Gozo by a special event which has become part of Gozo’s cultural calendar.

A traditional bonfire will be lit on the St John’s Demi Bastion at the Citadel. Il-Hgejjeg ta’ San Gwann will be enacted on the bastions.

There will be an evening of music, dance and folklore all celebrating the feast of St John the Baptist.

The evening gets underway at 8.30pm and is being organised by the Gozo Culture and Information Office.

Everyone is invited to attend and enjoy the atmosphere and spectacle of this feast.
