Ta’ Mena Agri Ltd. introduces a new range of Gozitan Wines; ‘The Marsamena Wines Brand.’

“These Gozo DOK Premium wines present a particular taste on the palate which technically is referred to as the ‘Island Effect’ presenting traces of salt,” the company said.

Ta’ Mena Estate is organising an open day on Saturday, the 30th of June, followed by a Wine Festival to launch the winery’s new Marsamena Wines.

There will be different activities taking place throughout the day and a Wine and Typical Gozitan Foods Festival gets underway from 7.30pm onwards.

Ta’ Mena Estate is in the heart of the Gozitan country-side, surrounded by a natural and calm environment with breathtaking views. The estate is situated in the picturesque Marsalforn Valley on the main road between Victoria and Marsalforn Bay. The estate includes a fruit garden, olive grove with about 1500 olive trees, orange grove and over ten hectares of vineyards. It enjoys the panoramic views of the Gozo Citadel and the surrounding hills and villages.

The Estate also cultivates its own strawberries, tomatoes, melons, water melons and other vegetables. Ta’ Mena said, “we produce our own wines in a state of the art winery, press our own olives to produce a unique cold pressed extra virgin olive oil in a modern olive press and produce various typical liqueurs and foods from our different fruit, vegetables and herbs.”
