Melita has announced that with immediate effect on TV-Internet-Telephony bundle subscriptions, “it has established 30 Megabits per second as the minimum entry level download speed for bundle subscribers. This is the first product of its kind in Malta, resulting from the strength of Melita’s cable infrastructure.”

The company said that “Melita’s Home Entertainment Pack will now offer fast download speeds of up to 30 Megabits per second. In addition, customers joining the Fibre-Powered Home Entertainment Pack until the end of October will also get a free upgrade to 60 Megabits per second until the end of January 2013, with an additional charge of €6 applying as from February 2013. Customers have the option to revert to the 30 Megabit speed at no charge by simply filling an online form by the 15th of January 2013.”
