The Coordinating Team of the MCCF L-Istrina 2012 – Sports Mill-Qalb wishes to invite all Sports Organisations/Clubs/Bodies that are willing to join this year’s Campaign by dedicating an activity within their locality or facility to help raise funds for the Malta Community Chest Fund.

The Campaign is now in its third year and is steadily gaining popularity. Last year it attracted an encouraging number which was triple that of the first year. The majority of those who took part last year have already confirmed their participation for this year too.

In line with the Maltese strong feeling of solidarity with those in need, dedicated individuals within Sports Organisations are each year making it possible for the MCCF Organising Committee to obtain the essential funds required to support a number of Institutions, Voluntary NGOs, individuals and families that will be experiencing health problems in their lives.

This support is most welcome as it provides another lifeline for the Sub Committee within the MCCF l-Istrina 2012. Sports Organisations/Bodies including establishments catering for any sport discipline that wish to be part of the Sports mill-Qalb Campaign are kindly invited to communicate their intentions along with their proposal by contacting the MCCF L-Istrina mill-Qalb 2012 Coordinating Team (Tel. Nos. 21454421 / 21451902 / 79053288) as early as possible to obtain further details as well as the required authorisation that will enable one to proceed and raise funds for this year’s Campaign.

It is preferable that such activities are possibly held by the end of November, to enable participants to present personally the amount raised to H.E. Dr George Abela, the President of Malta, at the beginning of December.
