The Sacred Heart Minor Seminary in Victoria, Gozo recently received a visit by the First Lady Mrs Margaret Abela. A member of the school council, Stefan Muscat in a short speech welcomed the First Lady.

Fabio Cini of Form 2 White gave a performance on the piano of Sonata in F composed by Antonio Soler. Then, Mrs Abela addressed the students emphasising the annual drive of the Malta Comunity Chest Fund.

The Headmaster, Rev Can Noel Saliba, in the name of the staff and students offered Mrs Saliba a cheque for the MCCF. Afterwards, student Kristov Scicluna of Form 2 Yellow presented her one of his paintings, entitled ‘The Seabed,’ to be auctioned at a later date to generate funds for the Malta Comunity Chest Fund.

Before leaving, the First Lady visited Form 4 and Form 5 students in their classrooms and spoke briefly to them. The visit concluded with the signing of the Seminary Minor School guest book.
