Nadur Youngsters FC central defender Saviour Attard has won the BOV Player of the Month award for football season 2012/13, an award which has not been presented in Gozo since the 2001/2 season.

His consistent positive performances during these first weeks of this football season have helped Nadur Youngsters FC to win the first honour when they acquired the 32nd edition of the Independence Cup.

Nadur are also at the top positions of the table of the 1st Division, just one point behind leaders Kercem Ajax FC with a one-point lead over Xaghra United FC.

Jack Thewma, Manager at Bank of Valletta’s Gozo branch, presented the BOV Player of the Month Trophy for October 2012 to Mr Attard who chose Arka Foundation as the beneficiary of the donation related to this award.
