Shelly is a female Dalmation that the Gozo SPCA rescued earlier this year after she had been spotted running around Victoria.

She was in a terrible condition when she was picked up, just skin and bones as can be seen by the photographs below.

Following her rescue, she was checked over by the vet and apart from being extremely underweight, she was given the all clear. With lots of love, care and attention from the volunteers at the Centre in Victoria Shelly started to put on weight and gain confidence.Over the past few months Shelly has been with a foster carer and she has come on in leaps and bounds. Her foster carer is going abroad very soon and the Gozo SPCA would really like her to be able to go straight to a loving home, rather than take her back into the Centre.

Shelly is about 6 or 7-years old, she is house trained, very affectionate and really loves to go on walks. Hopefully somebody can find a place in their heart and their home for this lovely dog very soon, she so deserves a chance at finding a happy life in a loving home, after being neglected for so long.
