The electoral campaigns for the March General Election have got underway with both PL and PN set to hold meetings today in Pieta and Valletta.
With President George Abela having this morning signed the dissolution for the House of Representatives, the campaigns can now officially get underway.
The PL started their campaign at midnight last night with the announcement of the slogan ‘Malta taghna lkoll’ – Malta for all, when Dr Joseph Muscat signed the first campaign billboard in front of the PL Headquarters in Hamrun.
Dr Lawrence Gonzi started the PN campain off this morning, when he pledged a “Strong Future” for Malta.
Both Parties have said that their first mass meetings will be held this coming Sunday, the 13th of January. PL is holding its first one in Gozo and it is understand that it will be in St Augustine’s Square in Victoria.
