The strike of public transport that has been underway since last Monday, has at last come to an end.

The news that an agreement had been reached with the union was announced during a press conference held this afternoon by the Prime Minister.

The transport service will be resumed as normal from tomorrow.

Update: An agreement was reached by both sides during talks held earlier. Consultation meetings regarding the liberalisation of the bus service and other issues will take place over the coming months.
