‘Blacky’ is a Labrador/Pointer Cross and a new arrival at the Gozo SPCA Rehoming Centre in Victoria.

For the past year he has been fed by people in a derilict building on the Xewkija Industrial Estate, the building is now being knocked down, so he has been taken in to be cared for by the volunteers at the Centre.

Blacky is a friendly dog, a bit shy, but he is still a ‘new boy’ so no doubt his character will soon shine through. He will be neutered and microchipped before he is rehomed.

Blacky has been missing out on the love and companionship of a forever home, hopefully he won’t have to wait long for somebody to help make his and their lives complete.

If anybody thinks that they can help with a home for Blacky, or any of the other animals at the Gozo SPCA centre, then please email info@spca-gozo.org. You can also contact them on 21553769 and 99475199 or visit their website at: http://www.spca-gozo.org/ or the Gozo SPCA facebook page.

Any of the animals can be reserved for rehoming and a gallery is available which features many of the dogs and cats that are currently in need of new homes.

Our previously published items on Gozo SPCA animals who are waiting for adoption can also be viewed in our Adopt a Pet section.
