A Labour Party victory celebration to thank Gozitan voters was held in Sannat today. Speaking at the event, the Prime Minister, Dr Joseph Muscat, said that the composition of the Commission entrusted with the reform of the Maltese justice system is to be announced on Sunday by the Parliamentary Secretary for Justice, Owen Bonnici.
The Prime Minister addressed the large crowds who had gathered in Sannat Square, saying that Gozo had sent a very strong signal by electing three Labour MPs. “This adds more responsibility on the Government’s shoulders,” he insisted.
He continued by saying that the Government would continue with its main priority for Gozo, to create more jobs on the island.
Dr Muscat said that the Government is introducing the first signs to set-up the constitutional convention that will eventually lead towards the creation of Malta’s Second Republic.
The Prime Minister concluded by saying that “this Government will work for all Maltese, those who voted for the movement and those who did not and it will continue to work to make sure that Malta belongs to us all.”

Hope all “Aliens” are welcome .
