A Council meeting will be held at Xaghra on Tuesday the 16th April 2013 at 5.30pm at the Local Council’s administrative offices in 8th September Avenue. The agenda is as follows:

1. Opening prayer;

2. Reading and approval of Council minutes of last meeting;

3. Approval of the annual locality meeting’s minutes

4. Approval of the quarterly financial report (January – March 2013);

5. Mayor’s communications including the construction of the new civic centre, tenders of construction related to Measure 313 of the Leader programme, adjudication of the tender of restoration of Our Lady of Sorrows’ niche in Shaft Street, the organisation of Xaghra Day activities, the award of the honour ‘Gieh ix-Xaghra’, renewal of the handyman contract and the helpers at the Day Care Centre, the organisation of the figs festival in October 2013, patching of the first part of Marsalforn Road, the organisation of the hill climb on 26th May and other matters;

6. Reading of correspondence;

7. Complaints by the residents;

8. Approval of payments and

9. Date for another council meeting.

As in every council meeting, the public is cordially invited to attend.
