On Saturday in The Cittadella, Victoria, a garrison of local soldiers were involved in a bloody confrontation with French Troops. Although the Gozo force came under heavy fire they eventually won the battle and the French surrendered their arms.The exhibtion L-Arti fl-Insig, by Ms Alda Bugeja at Il-Hagar – Heart of Gozo museum, on the local craft of weaving, which is being held at Il-Hagar Museum in St.George’s Square, Victoria.

The exhibition will remain open until the 26th of May.
