Meet ‘Dusty,’ whose home for the past few weeks has been down at Mgarr Xini. He had been abandoned and was being fed by a kind person who visited him there every day, until the Gozo SPCA had the space to take him in.

Happily that is now the case and Dusty is at the Rehoming Centre in Victoria. He has been to the vet for his check up and he has come back with a great report, he is a very healthy dog, aged about 3 years old and has tested negative for leishmaniasis (Sandfly).

Dusty will be neutered and microchipped and will then be ready to go to the loving home he really deserves. He’s now waiting to be given the chance to show just how much love he can give to that ‘special somebody’ out there.

Gozo SPCA said that Dusty is a very nice dog, he is good with dogs, cats and people. He needs some training for walking on a lead.

The photo above shows Dusty when he was living ‘rough’ at Mgarr Xini and feeling a bit sad, he has survived many hardships, but now his life has taken a turn for the better, with even happier times to come.
