The ERRC lifeguards in Comino, this morning assisted a British male, in his late 30s, who was calling for help after experiencing difficulties while swimming.
Lifeguards reached the victim and pulled him ashore to safety. Before being assisted by the lifeguards he had already swallowed a considerable amount of water and was not able to keep afloat.
