The Gozo CCU Foundation held its 6th ‘Concert Under the Stars’ at Ta Frenc on Sunday. Once again this very popular evening, was hailed as a resounding success and Dame Carmen Bellamy, Chairperson of the Foundation said that a record number of people attended for this year’s event.
Guests present said that it was a “truly magical evening, with wonderful music, a lovely atmosphere, with great food and service.”
The entertainment during the evening was provided by Chev Mro Mark Agius and his band. Carmen extended a big thank you to all those businesses and individuals for their kind and various types of sponsorship and support, as well as to the persons who made cash donations. Special thanks went to George Bonello of Sidroc Ltd for sponsoring the wine and George Agius of Cassar Camilleri.
A raffle to raise funds was also held during the evening.
Ta Frenc also received a special mention from the Foundation and Carmen said that “Mario Schembri the Executive Chef prepared a fantastic meal and Joseph and his staff gave us all a splendid service.”
