Don’t miss the opportunity to help save lives and give blood next Saturday during a Blood Drive, organised by the Emergency Response and Rescue Corps of Gozo, in collaboration with the National Blood Transfusion Centre and Arkadia Commercial Centre in Victoria, Gozo.

Blood Drives do attract many first time blood donors. First time donors are more encouraged to donate blood when someone else accompanies them.

Last year this event attracted more than forty blood donors; most of them donated blood for the first time.

When donating blood people are helping others and having the chance to help save lives.

The ERRC urges the general public to come for this Blood Drive and invite someone else to join them. Blood is priceless and can be only available by blood donors.

Persons between 18 and 63 years are eligible to donate blood. People aged 17 need the consent of their parent or guardian.

This event will take place on Saturday, the 21at of September 2013 between 8.30am and 1.00pm.

It is important that anyone wishing to donate blood should take their ID card with them.
