This autumn will see a focus by the Gozo Business Chamber on the crafts industries in Gozo. In November a festival of crafts will celebrate the quality and range of crafts people that are so plentiful on the island.

Leading up to this, an exhibition of crafts and applied art was inaugurated on the 20th of September and will remain open to the public until the 16th of October.A wide range of items ‘created in Gozo’ can be seen and are available for purchase. The products range from work in stone to weaving; include contemporary work in ceramics and wood as well as traditional crafts, and foodstuffs.

The exhibition is being held in the Cittadella Centre for Culture and the Arts, the Citadel, Gozo. This wonderful venue has been restored over the last 2 years so alongside the exhibition you may see the improvements made to Citadel and remind yourself of how excellent a cultural centre it is.

Working for charity, the exhibition and the festival will support the OASI Foundation through collections.

The exhibition will be open daily from 10.00am to 4.00pm and 11.00am till 3.00pm at weekends.
