Santa Lucija will be the venue for a ‘Symphony of Lights,’ over the next two weekends, organised by the Santa Lucija Administrative Committee.
On Sunday, the feast of Our Lady of Fatima, a ‘Fjakkolata,’ – traditional fire illumination, will take place from 7.30pm onwards, on Ghar Ilma Hill, a magical setting of torch lights surrounding the heart of the village.
The hamlet of Santa Lucija will also host an open air concert by the Gozo Youth Wind Band in Pjazza Santa Lucija, this will take place the following Saturday, the 19th of October at 7.30pm.
A lights spectacle and a fireworks display will enrich this unique event in one of the oldest Gozitan hamlets.
The ‘Symphony of Lights’ double weekend, is being organised for the second year running, with entrance to all events is free of charge, everyone is warmly welcome to attend.
