Members of the Armed Forces of Malta that were involved in Friday’s Search and Rescue Operation for migrants were invited to the Office of the Prime Minister this morning as a show of appreciation for the hard work carried out by soldiers at sea, in the air and on land.

The Prime Minister Dr Joseph Muscat praised the professionalism and heroism showed by members of the force as they saved tens of migrants miles off the Maltese Coast.
