The Ta’ Pinu National Shrine issued a Commemorative Card on Saturday to celebrate the re-opening of the Museum House of Karmni Grima.
This year they are celebrating also the 175th anniversary of this lady from Gharb who on 22 June 1883 heard the call of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Ta’ Pinu.
This limited edition of 250 cards is also marked with a special hand postmark used by MaltaPost plc on 7 December 2013 to commemorate this occasion.
Both the card and the hand postmark were designed by Mr Anthony Grech, member of the Gozo Philatelic Society.
The card may be obtained from the Ta’ Pinu National Shrine, the Museum of Karmni Grima or from the Gozo Philatelic Society.
