The Health Awareness Committee within the Gozo General Hospital recently held a health awareness and blood donation event at The Duke Shopping Mall in Victoria, Gozo.

Professional Staff offered weight and body mass index (BMI) recording, blood pressure reading, blood glucose testing and advice on dental care.

The blood donation session was mainly led by a blood donation team from Malta. During the session 40 persons turned up accompanied by their children to donate blood of which several were first time donors.
