The charity ‘Ability For Disability Association Gozo’ opened its very popular bazaar in new premises last Saturday, having moved to Republic Street, Victoria.
Miriam Whitaker, (pictured centre above) President of the A.F.D.A. Gozo, said that she started up the charity bazaar ten years ago with just one bag of donated clothes, however, the response was so good, that she, together with her team of volunteers had to quickly find a shop to sell them in.
The A.F.D.A. consists of a team of dedicated volunteers and parents, with one common aim, which is to bring a quality of life to anyone with disability or need.
Many professional and qualified people from different nationalities and all walks of life make up the team and all of the services are given voluntarily.
