The Xaghra Hill Climb race day started off in inclement weather this morning, with cool, windy and sometimes showery conditions.

Large crowds turned up to see the competition get underway, with the spectators filling every vantage point. The first of the drivers left the paddock at 9.00am to start the exciting day of racing.Participants for this fourth round of the Island Car Club event faced several challenges, including a long steep ramp at the starting point, a 3-point chicane, a roundabout, wide apex, then just metres away from the finishing line, a very tight hairpin.The race results will eventually be available on the Island Car Club website.
