A British woman is in critical condition after she fell from a height, yesterday, June 21, 2014 at about 2015hrs in Triq ix-Xatt, Ghajnsielem, Gozo.
Preliminary investigation found that for an unknown reason, the woman 46, residing in Nadur, Gozo, fell in a street below, which is about 10 feet lower than the main road.
She was immediately conveyed to the Gozo General Hospital for medical treatment. Later her condition turned for the worse and thus she was transferred to Mater Dei Hospital.
Further investigations are underway while several experts have been appointed to assist with a magisterial inquiry.
This is not the first time, the wall in Triq ix-Xatt is extremely dangerous but falls could be prevented by erecting a fence on the wall
