The annual collective art exhibition organised by Art Club 2000 is currently taking place at the Exhibition Hall of the Ministry for Gozo, in Victoria Gozo.

Over 50 participants are displaying their works of art including paintings in different media, sculpture and photography and the exhibition has been drawing large crowds during its first week of opening.

The Club is a voluntary organisation based in Mellieha with the primary aim of promoting and raising awareness and appreciation of arts and crafts amongst people of all ages. The scope is to teach, educate and encourage artistic talents and interests.

During the past 15 years the club has become well established in Mellieha and the surrounding areas following a number of initiatives that were taken by the club committee.

Art Club 2000 also organises several exhibitions throughout the year which give both relatively new as well as professional talents the opportunity of exhibiting their work to a wider audience.

The exhibition is open to the public until the 28th of August, Monday to Friday from 8.00am to 1.00pm. Admission is free.
