Students from Form 3 and 4 of the Gozo College Boy’s Secondary School in Victoria, have visited the Ta’ Dbiegi Crafts Village in Gharb as part of their entrepreneurial project.
The students, prior to the visit, came up with a number of business related questions during a brainstorming activity. They were then encouraged to put these questions forward to a number of artisanal businesspeople who have stores in this village.
The visit proved to be very interesting and informative, with the students shown how their different talents, if used to their potential, could lead to various original careers.
Several of the store owners, were kind enough to share their life experiences with the students. Many of the students said that they found that they could easily identify themselves with these people.
The organisers said that this outing helped to motivate the students who left the village with a inspiring phrase in their minds . “Where there is a will there is a way!”
