The Government has announced today that altogether, 83 projects from 53 different Local Councils, have applied for funding for capital projects from the call issued early in January.

20 projects have been proposed by 14 Gozo Councils. Some even proposing a joint project with each other, the Government said.

A process of technical evaluation will be started immediately by the specially appointed Board, to identify the projects to benefit from the fund, which totals €1 million.
