Malta Public Transport has said that it will be running special bus services in Gozo during the Carnival days, from Friday, the 13th to Sunday, the 15th of February.
They will be departing from Victoria bus station and Mgarr to Nadur, and also departing from Nadur to all localities in Gozo, including to Mgarr for the ferry. These services will be available at €1 per trip.
Malta Public Transport will also be offering night buses, operating from Cirkewwa, with the arrival of the ferry, at €2.50 per trip.
Are these carnivals fun to attend now a days? From what I’ve seen on on pictures it looks frightful and creepy

You see people at these carnivals dressed in costumes mocking other people. Again, frightful and creepy.

I think it strange that as one who lives in America and has done so for so long, you too express your opinions which are not based upon living here, as I do. The carnivals are great fun and are to make fun of, celebrate and satirise real life and people.
Again, from what I have seen at the carnival, it is deplorable to mock other people. Mick, who cares if you live there? It makes you wonder why you would leave your own country.
Then you miss the whole point of Carnival, which is to mock life and satirise others.
And your reason for leaving your own country and going to America was ???
When did you last go to the carnival in Gozo?
ELIZA on recent published topics you expressed yourself against advertising museums and the International folk festival and against advertising concerts and bars throughout the island. You are against the Gozo Youth Council and now you’re against the Gozo Carnival. Eliza what do you want for the sake of Gozo and the Gozitans, to return living in the caves as their ancestors did hundreds of years ago?

If you live in America and have never left your country that would mean you were born there and are an American citizen.

Ray, I know Gozo inside and out
I believe you never left Gozo in that it is always in your heart and mind but you do not know its socio-economic situation or its needs or the majority of the people’s wishes. Not as they are now. You are too far away, geographically, to understand the day to day needs of its people.
