The Gozo University Group (GUG) held a successful debate on the University Campus on Wednesday as part of the programme for ‘Gozo Week.’

Various issues were discussed such as employment, entrepreneurship, transport and the accessibility of the island.

The panel consisted of representatives from the three major political parties, joined by GUG’s president and Gozo Youth Council’s (GYC) Vice-President.

Special guests, Dr. Kevin Cutajar also attended the event and showed appreciation towards the organisations aims for the island. While Parliamentary Secretary, Chris Aguis also paid a visit earlier in the morning.

With the fourth day of ‘Gozo Week’ already underway, GUG said that they would like to thank the students and guests for their support and encouragement throughout this special week dedicated to Gozo.
