Farmers from all over Malta and Gozo, have over the past weeks, attended various seminars and training sessions on the sustainable use of plant production products and good agricultural practices.

Other subjects included Health & Safety during agricultural work in the open fields, good agricultural practices, integrated pest management, activity record keeping and legislations.

These seminars were organised by the two producers’ organisations of Tomatoes for processing namely ‘Ghaqda Ghawdxija tal-Produtturi tat-Tadam’ and ‘Ghaqda Produtturi tat-Tadam Maltin’ in collaboration with MCCAA and Magro Brothers.

Following the successful completion of the seminars farmers will be presented with the official license issued by MCCAA.
