To mark the 95th anniversary of the birth of Karol Józef Wojtyla and as part of the preparation to mark the 25th anniversary of the first visit of Saint John Paul II to the Maltese Islands, the JP2 Foundation, is holding a Musical Poetry Evening with the participation of young musicians and local poets.
This event will also be commemorating the historical entry of Pope John Paul II in the Grand Harbour which took place on the 26th of May 1990. 
The venue to host this special evening, is the Chapel of Our Lady of Liesse in Valletta, next Monday, the 18th of May 2015 at 8.00pm.
The JP2 Foundation would like to invite any young talented musicians, as well as any poets from Malta and Gozo, who would like to participate in the mentioned event, to contact the Foundation by this Saturday, the 16th of May, on 99441076.
In order to relive the emotional moments of twenty five years ago, the JP2 Foundation would also like to invite any of those that participated in escorting or accompanying His Holiness during the mentioned entry in the Grand Harbour of Valletta.
The General Public is also invited to attend.
